How do I create an account?

Creating an account is fast and simple. Setting up a WELL WITHIN customer account will provide you with an easy checkout experience by storing your shipping information for future orders and past purchases. To set up an account, simply click the Log In link located on our website header. For security purposes, WELL WITHIN does not store any credit card information.

Do I need an account to order products from WELL WITHIN?

You may purchase products via a guest checkout. We have also made it easy for you to setup a WELL WITHIN customer account. Once you become a registered member, checkout is fast and simple, and you will also receive the latest news on beauty, nutrition, and lifestyle, and personalized exclusive offers.

How can I recover/change my password?

It's simple to change or recover a password. When logging into your account, just click on the "forgot your password" link which can be found above the password prompt. Please note, the email address associated with your account must be entered. After submitting your information, you will receive a "reset password" link via email along with direction on how to retrieve or update your current password.

How do I update my account information?

Account information can be updated or changed at any time simply by logging into your WELL WITHIN customer account.

How do I create a wishlist?

A wishlist is a fun shopping tool that is easy to create. To add any product(s) to your wishlist, just click the "Add to Wishlist" icon which is featured on each product page. Your wishlist will appear and the product you selected will automatically be added.  Your wishlist will be kept in your account. You will also have the option to share it with friends and family via e-mail.

How do I unsubscribe to your email newsletter?

If you no longer want to receive our email newsletters, simply click on the "Unsubscribe" link that can be found at the bottom of each email you receive. Please note, you will continue to receive all emails relating to any product orders.

What are your shipping and delivery policies?

Please allow 1-2 business days for orders to be processed. Weekend days are not included in processing time and any order that is placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday. 

We offer free ground shipping on any order. The shipping fees for Next Day or Two Day Air are $22 and $15 respectively. Any orders that are being shipped via Next Day or Two Day Air delivery will be processed the same day if it is received by 1:00pm EST.

At this time, we can only accept orders that are shipped within the United States. No International orders will be accepted. Please note all purchases will be subject to bank authorization prior to final processing and therefore only authorized purchases will be shipped.

How do I know if my order has been processed?

An email notification will be sent to you confirming order receipt as soon as your order and payment have been validated. If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact our customer service team via email by clicking here or call our toll free number 844-640-0404, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm EST, excluding holidays.

How do I track my order?

You will receive two emails from WELL WITHIN during the order process: 1) order confirmation within 24 hours once your order is received and 2) order shipment information once your order has shipped and includes your shipment tracking information. 

Tracking your shipment is easy and can be done simply by clicking the tracking link that is emailed to you. This information will be available on the carrier's website the day immediately after your order has been shipped.

How do I change or cancel an order?

If an online order needs to be changed or cancelled, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please contact us as soon as possible after the order has been placed via phone at 844-640-0404. We are available Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm EST, excluding holidays.

What is your return policy?

Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority. If you are not satisfied with your WELL WITHIN purchase and want to return or exchange an item, please send back the unopened item, in its original packaging, within 30 days upon your receipt.

A WELL WITHIN Return Form is included in all product orders.  Please complete the form in its entirety and address your package to:

If the return form is missing from your shipment, please ship back to the above address and include your name, email address, order number, along with a detailed reason for your return.

We recommend all returns are sent via an insured, trackable method in case of loss during shipping. A credit or refund will be issued to your original form of payment, but we unfortunately cannot refund original shipping costs. Please allow up to 14 business days after we have received and processed your returned order at our warehouse in order for your refund to be issued.

I returned a product/order, and have not received a refund?

Please allow 14 business days after a returned order is received and processed in our warehouse before a refund is issued. Our customer service team is always available to answer any questions should there be a delay in this process. Please reach out via email by clicking here or call our toll free number 844-640-0404, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm EST excluding holidays, if 14 days have passed and you have not received a refund.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship within the United States and do not accept any International orders.

What Methods of Payment are accepted?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, in addition to PayPal.

Payments made on wellwithinbeauty.com are processed securely through Shopify payments. For security purposes, please ensure your billing name and mailing address match that of the credit card you are using for payment. If this information does not match, we will not be able to process your order and it will be cancelled. Once your credit card is authorized, all funds will be put on hold until the transaction is officially completed. Payment will be processed once the order has finally shipped.

Please note, your bank details are encrypted and are never stored by WELL WITHIN for an additional security measure.

When will my payment be deducted from my credit card account?

Once your order is shipped, your credit card will be processed for payment. Please note a temporary authorization may initially appear on your account when your order is placed, but it will be updated with the actual charge once shipment has taken place.

Where do you charge sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax in New Jersey and New York.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes, any information you supply to WELL WITHIN is completely confidential. All credit card details are securely encrypted and will not be stored in our system. Please note any personal information provided to us is strictly used for customer service or order shipment purposes.

Why is my phone number required?

Most shipping carriers require a phone number for all orders. Please note this information will solely be used to contact you only if necessary, in case there is a question about your order or if we need to respond to any inquiries you may have.

What can I do if my payment is declined?

We apologize if your payment is declined, but we recommend you initially contact your credit card company or bank because payment authorization occurs between our banking provider and your financial institution. Where do I enter a promo code?

It's easy to utilize a promotional code when placing an order on our site.  Please ensure the appropriate code is entered during checkout into the promotional code window so it can be applied to your order. Just click apply and the promotion will automatically be attributed to your order. We will only allow one code per order to be used.

I forgot to enter a promo code on my recent order, can I apply it now?

What is your Replenishment Service?

How it Works

By signing up for our replenishment service at checkout, you no longer need to remember to order your must-have products. Plus, receive 10% off each product every order cycle + FREE standard shipping!

The program is easy to use and customizable, so you can make changes online whenever you need. You can select to receive your items every 30, 45, 60 or 90 days. You can check on your Replenishment Service by logging into your account on our website anytime and selecting “Replenishment Service” in the menu on the left. Replenishment orders are billed to your default billing address and shipped to your default shipping address. You may also edit this information by logging into your account.

You always have complete control over your Auto-Replenishment orders. When your replenishment order is ready to be processed, you will receive a reminder email 3 days before each order ships. If you need to make any adjustments to your order including ship date and billing and shipping information, you can do so by logging into your account. Shortly thereafter, your replenishment order will be shipped, unless adjustments to the ship date have been made. At the time of shipment, you will receive an email confirming the shipment of the order.

Changes or Cancellation

Once you have subscribed, Auto-Replenishment is easy to manage. You can change your next order date, skip an order, change your selected frequency, or cancel a subscription by logging into your account and selecting “Replenishment Service”. Please allow up to 24 hours for modifications or cancellations to be processed.

What can you tell us about the choices of the ingredients you use?

When it comes to ingredients, PLANTED IN BEAUTY’S philosophy is that our products are always of natural origin, containing the highest level of organic ingredients possible while remaining chemical and toxin free. We have carefully selected the most environmentally responsible, efficacious ingredients needed to maximize performance, benefits and texture.

PLANTED IN BEAUTY sources naturally, organically certified ingredients worldwide – many are from Europe. Europe is widely lauded as a premiere leader in natural and organic ingredient cultivation and regulation; in fact, the EU law bans over 1,300 chemicals from cosmetics that are known or suspected to cause cancer, genetic mutation, reproductive harm or birth defects. WELL WITHIN feels strongly about adhering to and not compromising on the high standards set by the EU for our business and products and is proud to pass this on to our consumers.

Are your skincare products all natural?

Yes, our products are plant-based and always of natural origin. We don’t use synthetic fragrances, preservatives or emulsifiers, and our products are entirely free of parabens, sulfates and other toxic chemicals. For our “free from” ingredient list, see here.

What are the benefits of organic natural ingredients in skincare products? 

Skin is the human body’s biggest organ. 60% of the products we apply topically have the potential to be absorbed in the bloodstream and circulate to our cells. By opting for organic natural skincare, you are choosing to nourish your skin with the healthiest available ingredients free from toxic insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers. Since all organic plant matter is made up of the same vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, enzymes, amino acids and hormones as the human body, our skin is able to absorb them readily, and circulate them to the rest of the body. Once organic natural ingredients are absorbed by the skin, they can help with everything from increasing collagen production and improving circulation to restoring discoloration and diminishing visible signs of aging.

What’s the difference between natural and organic and organic certified ingredients?

“Natural” ingredients are derived, in whole or in part, from natural sources with no synthetic compounds.

“Organic,” by contrast, is a far more specific term that refers to a system by which ingredients have been grown and sourced. Products must adhere to strict, uniform standards for everything from growing to storage, packaging to shipping. Organic agriculture relies on biodiversity and naturally occurring ecological processes for growing and harvesting crops, without the application of toxic chemicals like insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers. Its aim is to reestablish and sustain ecological harmony.

“Organic Certified” is a 3rd party certification process that ensures the value and integrity of an organic product, protecting consumers from fraudulent claims. An organic certification promises the consumer that the organic ingredients have been grown according to consistent and rigorous standards. Behind the scenes, this means that everything from the soil to the water to the processing facilities from which ingredients have been sourced have been closely regulated, with detailed records for quality assurance.

Your products are certified organic by Ecocert for the Cosmos Cosmetics Standard. What does this seal signify for your consumers?

Ecocert, the very first certification body to develop standards for natural and organic cosmetics, in consultation with other European certification bodies, has developed the new Cosmos Cosmetics Standard. The rigorous sustainability standards include verification and audit of raw materials, farming processes, formulas, manufacturing procedures, and final packaging with the aim to ensure respect for the environment throughout the production chain, respect for the consumer and the enhancement of natural and organic ingredients. 

Some key components of the Cosmos Cosmetics Standard encompass the following:

  • 20% minimum of the total product by weight (including water) must be organic (or 10% in the case of rinse off products)
  • No synthetic fragrances, colors, petroleum derivatives, polymers, parabens
  • No animal testing at all. Only animal by-products that do not directly question animals’ lives and whose use do not adversely affect the ecological balance can still be used (bee wax, honey, milk, etc.)
  • Biodegradable or recyclable packaging
  • The percentage of natural and organic ingredients must appear on the packaging to inform the consumer
What % of your ingredients in a formula are certified organic?

Our products are certified organic by Ecocert for Cosmos Cosmetics Standard, which requires at least 20% organic ingredients of the total product by weight. Our products contain 3 to 4 times the Ecocert required level of certified organic materials. The balance of the formulas include natural ingredients and naturally derived ingredients such as water, minerals and vitamins. In addition, over 98% of the total plant ingredients in each product are certified organic.

Are PLANTED IN BEAUTY products certified by the Environmental Working Group (EWG)?

Yes, all our products are EWG VERIFIED except the Firm + Smooth + Brighten Reparative Complex, which means the product has passed strict criteria for transparency, healthfulness and safety. These criteria include the avoidance of ingredients that authoritative health bodies have flagged for potential health concerns, full disclosure of ingredients, confirmation that the products are adequately preserved and free of contaminants and follows good manufacturing practices.

Do you use natural preservatives and emulsifiers?

Yes, all of our preservatives and emulsifiers are all natural. While we use a minimal amount of preservatives, we include natural formulas in our products to help stave off chemical changes that can happen from environmental factors like air, moisture, and simply the passage of time. While every product has a shelf life, we want to ensure that our products stay fresh for your use.

Are your products scented? Do they contain synthetic fragrances?

All our products except our eye firming complex have been scented with natural ingredients. We never use synthetic fragrances, and have chosen to make our eye product unscented, given that the eye-area tends to be particularly sensitive.

What is the shelf life of your products?

PLANTED IN BEAUTY products have a shelf life of 30 months after the manufacture date except for Soothe + Soften Cleansing Emulsion that is 24 months. All products have a recommended shelf life of 6 months after the product is initially opened. We communicate the Period After Opening (PAO) information to our consumers on our primary and secondary packaging. Use as directed for optimal results.

Do you test on animals?

PLANTED IN BEAUTY products are all cruelty-free. We do not conduct animal testing nor do we use animal by-products of any kind in our formulas or production process. We also offer our consumers a further guarantee with our certifications: Leaping Bunny, the Certified Vegan Trademark, and Certified by Ecocert Cosmos Cosmetics Standard.

What is the Leaping Bunny Certification?

PLANTED IN BEAUTY is proud to be certified by Leaping Bunny. Leaping Bunny is a highly regarded organization that was formed from the nation’s largest protection groups to ensure all future animal testing is banned. Its logo is the only internationally recognized symbol that provides consumers with the assurance that no animal tests were conducted in the development process of any cosmetic and/or household product. We strictly comply with their Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals and have pledged we will not partake in animal testing in any way nor use any ingredient or formulation that is tested on animals.

Are your products vegan?

Yes. PLANTED IN BEAUTY products carry The Certified Vegan Trademark to offer consumers an easy and worry-free shopping experience. This seal provides a 100% guarantee that each product is vegan, contains no animal ingredients or animal by-products, uses no animal ingredient or by-product in the manufacturing process, and has not been tested on animals.

Are your products gluten-free?

Yes, all our products are gluten free, and do not come in any contact with gluten during production.

Are your products safe for children to use?

PLANTED IN BEAUTY products are not intended to be used on and/or by children and were formulated solely for use by adults.

Is it safe to use your products while I am pregnant/breastfeeding?

Our products carry the Certified by Ecocert Cosmos Cosmetics Standard which means our ingredients are natural and organic, and do not contain any toxic ingredients. However, we recommend you check with your healthcare provider prior to incorporating any new products into your daily skincare regimen.

What testing is performed on your products?

Our top priority is to provide our customers products that are safe and efficacious. To this end our products are tested by outside laboratories, dermatologists and ophthalmologists to ensure safety and stability. In addition, 3rd party facilities conduct clinical efficacy testing and in-use testing on our behalf to ensure product performance.

Is your packaging recyclable / sustainable?

In addition to certifying our formulations, Ecocert for Cosmos Cosmetics Standards has reviewed our packaging and packaging materials for sustainability and recyclability.

Our packaging design offers the best protection for product safety, allows for longer shelf life and ease of application. We have reduced unnecessary packaging whenever necessary.

What is the best order to apply my PLANTED IN BEAUTY products?

To attain optimal skin health and vitality, follow these six steps when applying your PLANTED IN BEAUTY products.

  1. For the first step of the double cleanse process, apply Purify + Condition Makeup Remover to remove face makeup and environmental debris.
  2. Apply Soothe + Soften Cleansing Emulsion or Polish + Resurface Detox Exfoliant to complete the double cleanse process. Your Polish + Resurface Detox Exfoliant may be used several times a week or as needed in place of Soothe + Soften Cleansing Emulsion.
  3. Follow with Balance + Calm Toning Lotion to restore and refresh your skin after cleansing.
  4. Apply Firm + Smooth + Brighten Reparative Complex to firm, lift and brighten skin tone.
  5. Apply Depuff + Illuminate Eye Firming Complex to smooth, lift and brighten the eye area.

Why did you call your skincare line Planted in Beauty? The meaning of the Lotus symbol?

Our skincare line, PLANTED IN BEAUTY, conveys our deep-rooted commitment to natural, plant-based, organic skincare products that promote the improved look and feel of skin for optimal skin health, and our pursuit of beauty from the inside out and outside in.

The lotus flower is among the most storied and symbolical flower in history, with several meanings among different cultures. While it evolved from ancient roots, many modern wellness seekers appreciate the lotus for the way it conveys new beginnings, growth, and the ability to flourish despite obstacles. 

For this reason, it naturally compliments our vision for outer beauty that is deeply rooted in practices that start within. The lotus is a beautiful image for a wellness seeker on a journey to becoming the best version of themselves.

What is your partnership with 1% for the planet?

Through 1% for the planet, WELL WITHIN donates 1% of our sales to Wellness in the Schools, a national non-profit that inspires healthy eating, environmental awareness, and fitness as a way of life for students in public schools. Through meaningful public-private partnerships, they provide schools with healthy, scratch-cooked meals, active recess periods, and fitness and nutrition education.

What is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach?

An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is a concierge of sorts for your wellness journey. They are highly educated guides in the fields of nutrition, wellness, bio-individuality and mentoring, providing individualized support and authority to help you feel your best through food and lifestyle changes. 

Health coaches approach the wellness journey with a focus on individuality. Because we are all uniquely wired with individual circumstances, there simply isn’t one diet or philosophy that can work for everyone all of the time. As health coaches are trained in various dietary theories, they will help you experiment with finding what will work for you specifically. With this in mind, health coaches also adopt a holistic approach, understanding the whole person, and recognizing the importance of relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality as equal contributors to your health and wellbeing. 

While there are many different types of health coach certifications out there, the most recognized and thorough certification comes from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and WELL WITHIN proudly partners with graduates of this program.  Health coaches enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition undergo one year of training to achieve credentials; during that time, they explore 100+ dietary theories and are trained by world-renowned health and wellness experts who are leading physicians, researchers and nutrition experts at the forefront of the health and wellness movement.
